The Underground Cave (地下の空洞), also known as the "wood of extreme end" in Japan, is the second location from The Nightmare of Druaga: Fushigino Dungeon, were the Chrono Orbs are located. Gilgamesh goes to the area to destroy the Chrono Orbs, so he may free Ki from Skulld's barrier in the Dark Ruins.

The Primordial Chamber (The primordial force field in Japan), were the Chrono Orbs are. Gil must destroy five Chrono Orbs: Chrono Orb Legs, Chrono Orb Abdomen, Chrono Orb Chest, Chrono Orb Arms, and Chrono Orb Head. The first four have 100 HP each, and the last has 500. When they are destroyed, Gil is able to return to the Dark Ruins, and than goes to the Deserted Holy Place.
