Ramman in The Blue Crystal Rod

Ramman (ラマン Raman) is the valiant god of storms, who has a large army.

Appearances[]

Gilgamesh and Ki can talk with Ramman in The Blue Crystal Rod at his temple on the Stormy Mountain. Depending on the player's action, instead of Raman, Gil and Ki may find Succubus inside a cave in the mountain.

In Seme COM Dungeon: Drururuaga, one of the initial decks are named after Ramman, which contains eight Spell Cards: Sword Knight, Goblin, Green Slime, Black Slime, Bronze Sword, Wood Shield, Leather Glove, and Potion of Healing. If the card "Summons on Ramman" is used, he causes 5 damage to all enemies in the room.

Etymology[]

  • Ramman appears to be based on Hadad (also known as Haddad, Adad, or Iškur) the storm and rain god in the Canaanite and ancient Mesopotamian religions. In Akkadian, Hadad is also known as Rammānu ("Thunderer") cognate with Imperial Aramaic: רעמא Raˁmā and Hebrew: רַעַם Raˁam, which was a byname of Hadad. Rammanu was formerly incorrectly taken by many scholars to be an independent Akkadian god later identified with Hadad. Rammānu presumably originally vocalized as Ramān in Aramaic and Hebrew.
